Reflecting upon his formative influences, he recalls the delightful charm of the classic television series "Jeeves & Wooster," set in the extravagant backdrop of the 1920s. It was within the confines of Wooster's apartment that Chen encountered the enchanting allure of art deco design, characterized by the juxtaposition of yellow timbers against meticulously lacquered, high-polished walnuts and mahoganies. With the Various Positions Nightstand, Chen seeks to reinvent this decadence.
