The Conservatory Collection offers a window to a bygone era, when conservatories and orangeries were sanctuaries of peace and quiet, seamlessly blending the indoors with the natural world. These spaces, often surrounded by lush greenery, provided a much-needed respite from the bustle of daily life, acting as tranquil havens for reflection and restoration. Historically, nature has been a powerful force for healing, and the Conservatory Collection draws on this timeless connection. At the heart of the design are the thousands of delicate perforations, a nod to Josef Hoffmann’s iconic vase and bowl collection from 1905. These intricate openings in steel allow the natural world to flow through the furniture, uninterrupted. The perforations invite light and air to pass through, preserving the integrity of the surroundings while subtly integrating the furniture into the outdoor environment. The result is a refined balance between the material and the organic, where nature and design coexist in perfect harmony.
