Inspired by classical Greek architecture, the Athens stool uses only two different elements. Made of solid Iroko, a beautiful golden hardwood from the tropical west coast of Africa, the geometry of the stool results in the assembly of three folds made with the same angle. Assembled together using a groove joint, they brace the stool in every direction and create the seat. This elementary structural principle defines the entire geometry of the stool, producing a lasting piece with a strong presence.
